Apples are a fruit with a long, fascinating history. From Adam and Eve, Snow White, and Johnny Appleseed, stories abound where this lively, color fruit take an active role. It is a common backyard trophy that amateur growers share with pride and shape into all kinds of tasty treats: cider, pie, cake, juice, jelly, jam, cobbler, and the list goes on. With a few of these in our refrigerator, we can be happy for more than a day.
