September's arrival inspired this abstract landscape oil painting. The cool air and sunshine create a climate that is the best for viewing the changing colors of the vegetation. Value contrast between dark and light help form the shapes in the neutral colored composition. Lines and shapes work to develop a sense of nature and the ending of the season.
The original painting was created on a 12x12 inch gallery-wrapped canvas with professional grade oil paints.
